Consistency has helped Orlando Magic's shooters find their rhythm
The Orlando Magic are suddenly hitting shots regularly and have put themselves in a position to finish the season strong. A consistent lineup has helped even struggling players find their place.
During games for the last few weeks, Gary Harris and Anthony Black will give each other a look as the other team prepares to inbound the ball.
The duo of defensive-minded guards has been playing many more minutes together since Harris re-entered during the team's five-game road trip. They have quickly built a tandem who hound guards in the backcourt and are forcing turnovers.
Harris and Black single-handedly flipped the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers by forcing three straight turnovers to spark a 7-0 run to cut the deficit to one to end the third quarter.
Harris and Black want to speed up the other team and make them uncomfortable. It has been successful for the team as they have found a pocket of rhythm.
In whatever time that comes, that is something only built through trust. It does not necessarily come from coach Jamahl Mosley or his staff. It is a feeling between two teammates who know how they work and teammates who know what the team needs.
